Contact(2023) is an interactive projection installation that invites every visitor to make eye contact, though their eyes are a trick of light and pixels.

People may think about eye contact differently, but the situation is changed after covid, that eye contact is more often found in webcams during online meetings. Are digital contacts real? Or phantom? Can people get emotion from those virtual eyes?

Images of visitors’ face are captured and projected onto the sculpture. The eyes on the sculpture (including those of previous visitors) will look back at the visitor. Observing and being observed occur at the same time.
